Service Agreement

By requesting a moving estimate or booking a move with Volunteer Movers TN, you agree to these terms. All moves are governed by Tennessee Public Utility Commission regulations and, for interstate moves, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.

Estimates and Pricing

Local moves are billed hourly with a minimum of 2 hours. Long distance moves are priced by weight using binding estimates. The estimate you approve before loading is the price you pay at delivery. Additional charges apply only for services not included in the original estimate, such as extra stops, stair carries, or packing materials requested on move day.

Insurance and Liability

Volunteer Movers TN carries $750,000 in combined single limit liability insurance as required by Tennessee law. All shipments include released value protection at $0.60 per pound per article at no additional charge. Full value protection is available as an upgrade.

Cancellation

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled move incur no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 2 hours of the quoted hourly rate.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.
